What We Do

Every rank advancement builds toward leading the crew. Scouts take on real responsibility — planning outings, training younger Scouts, and running meetings — building the kind of leadership that sticks.
Sail, row, or paddle — every route onto the water starts with the fundamentals of reading wind, current, and your vessel, whether you're crewing under sail or working an oar.
Overnight cruises, canoe trips, and regattas put every skill to the test in the real world.
Giving back to the community is part of the crew's mission — from local cleanups to helping neighbors, service builds character alongside skill.
Chart work, compass bearings, tides, and piloting — the practical skills to know exactly where you are.
Knots, lines, rigging, and boat maintenance. Caring for a vessel is part of respecting the sea.
CPR, first aid on the water, and rescue skills — every Scout on Seagle is prepared to respond.
Popcorn sales, car washes, and community events keep the ship equipped and outings affordable for every Scout.
